For the holidays, just as we did for Thanksgiving, DessertTruck is offering family-sized portions of our warm chocolate bread pudding, pumpkin pie with caramelized nuts and meringue, as well as a pumpkin cheese cake. They are $35 ea. and serve 6-8 people.
The famous chocolate bread pudding won a Throwdown with Bobby Flay and comes with your choice of vanilla or bacon creme anglaise. We make it entirely from scratch at our store on the L.E.S. and use only top-shelf ingredients. Served warm, this is not your typical bread pudding. Chocolaty, velvety and luxurious, this bread pudding is a perfect way to end a heart-warming family meal.
Like nothing you can find in grocer’s dessert case, we handcraft this pumpkin pie with just the right amount of holiday spices. A thin layer of salted butter caramel below the filling waits to ooze out onto your plate. Topped with meringue and caramelized nuts, we’ve filled this pie with the flavors and textures of the season.
The pumpkin cheese cake is simply two of your favorite things mashed into one – pumpkin pie and cheesecake! Well, actually, it’s also topped with meringue and toasted almonds.

Ready for our latest French macaroon? Here it is: our Maker’s Mark Macaroon!
We were more than delighted when Maker’s Mark asked us to come up with a recipe. (It’s a staple bourbon for a lot of us here at DessertTruck). In conjuring up a recipe, we turned to traditional Kentucky dessert ingredients for our inspiration. The result? A macaroon with blackberry buttercream, candied pecans and of course, a salted butter Maker”s Mark caramel in its yummy center!
So grab your Derby hat and head on down to Clinton Street for this store exclusive!
