November 30, 2010
Due to the success of the Thanskgiving Desserts, we are pleased to announce that we will also be taking orders for Christmas 2010. Just like last month, DessertTruck is offering family-sized portions of our warm chocolate bread pudding as well as a butternut squash pie. They are $35 ea. and serve 6-8 people.
In addition, however, we will also be offering a chocolate buche de noel, or yule log, with a luscious hazelnut buttercream inside. Once we make one, we’ll post a photo of it along with the price.
The famous chocolate bread pudding won a Throwdown with Bobby Flay and comes with your choice of vanilla or bacon creme anglaise. We make it entirely from scratch at our store on the L.E.S. and use only top-shelf ingredients. Served warm, this is not your typical bread pudding. Chocolaty, velvety and luxurious, this bread pudding is a perfect way to end a heart-warming holiday meal.
Like nothing you can find in grocer’s dessert case, we handcraft this butternut squash pie with just the right amount of fall spices. A thin layer of salted butter caramel below the filling waits to ooze out onto your plate. Topped with meringue and caramelized nuts, we’ve filled this pie with the flavors and textures of fall.
Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to pre-order yours today. Just provide your full name and email address or phone number for confirmation.
