This picture doesn’t quite do it justice, but this is one of my favorite moments in pastry – having a well-stocked and organized fridge full of pretty and tasty things.  This photo is from 15 minutes ago. The bottom pan is full of passion fruit & almond mousses (they’re getting a black sesame cookie on top) bound for tonight’s Hot Pot Party on St. Mark’s. Top top pan is full of bourbon caramel and blackberry butter cream macaroons destined for the Maker’s Mark headquarters in Kentucky.

The macaroons are sold at the store.  The mousses are only available at tonight’s party which is being hosted by Je’ Bon and Ghost Street.  Hope to see you at the store or at the party!  Jerome

New Dessert Addition!

The caramelized apples will be on hiatus until they reappear next fall.  Temporarily taking its place is a super light, tart and wonderfully complex dessert: a pavlova made with a sesame meringue, banana-mango sorbet, marinated bananas and whipped cream.  Like the other large desserts on our menu, it’s $6 + tax.  Available only at our store on 6 Clinton Street.

Yo, everyone, I’ve got an announcement.  Starting this upcoming Monday, DessertTruck Works will be opening at 8am, M-F.

To kick-off our new hours, we’ll be offering one free cinnamon roll or one free lemon-ricotta cheesecake for the first 5 customers who purchase a small coffee on Monday, March 21 thru Friday, March 25.  Both of those items are available in our store up until 3 pm each day.

We’ll have pics for you in a couple days!
